Welcome to ICWSM2020! The conference comprises the following elements:

Format

All talks from keynotes and authors are pre-recorded and available before the conference on our YouTube channel. Full papers have 10 minute talks, demos/poster/data papers have 3 minutes.

Live Q&A

There are three types of live Zoom sessions scheduled:

1. Keynotes will have hour-long "fire-side chats" using a Zoom webinar. Participants can ask questions via the Q&A feature of Zoom.

2. Spotlight papers (the top nine scoring papers) will each have a dedicated 20 minute Q&A session using a Zoom webinar.

3. All other papers will have Zoom poster sessions. These are hour-long Zoom sessions, one per paper, with up to eight sessions in parallel. Participants are encouraged to "hop" to sessions of their choosing and engage in lively discussions. BYOWOC (Bring Your Own Wine Or Coffee, depending on time zone!)

Chat

You can interact with the authors of the papers through our Slack channel. All registrants have been invited to the appropriate workspace.

Schedule

You can find the times for all the live sessions using the Schedule, where you can choose your timezone and find live sessions that work for you.
